Makeup School Shoot

The other day, I had an opportunity to work with a teacher and student makeup school in Burnaby. Everybody was collaborating to get beautiful images. I ended up taking beauty shots of eight models. Thanks so much to the make up artist, Yasmine Khan, and Daniel Mathias the International Fashion Division Director at Maijah Lewk, and all the models. More photos are coming soon to my "beauty" gallery.

Main street

This is a shot from the photo session I had with Mia the other day (Charles Stuart International Models) . We shot at an industrial area  off of Main street. Check out the other photo from the shoot on my "work" page.

Gas town

We had a location shoot the other day with two new faces from Charles Stuart International Models. They were short sessions is Gas town, around an hour each. Even though they are fresh to the industry, I was able to feel lots of potential from them during the shoot. Looking forward to doing a studio session in the near future with these two. Also, many thanks to the stylist, Michelle Davis.

This is Diana and Hunter.

Victorian Dana

The fashion coordinator, Michelle, and I styled the background all day yesterday in preparation for today's photoshoot.

In the end, it was totally worth it! Dana's atmosphere matched our set really well.

Also, I really appreciate being able to work with the MUA, Brianna, and the hair stylist, Ashley for the first time. It's always great to work with such friendly and passionate people.

Here's a photo of the model getting ready for the second look.  I'll show the photos in a few weeks so stay tuned!

Scouting location

Happy New Year to everybody!

We are planning to have a fashion shoot on location every weekend in January.

Today I spent time scouting a location in an industrial area for an upcoming shoot.

Here's the one of the location that I found today. I'm a bit excited to show you guys the final image from this shoot in a few weeks..

Last photoshoot this year

The main concept was close up portrait focusing on the model's face with water drops on it to create a unique texture.

We also did another shoot which was styled more classically with the model wearing matching tweed top and bottoms and silver textured jewellery, which engages the viewer simply using texture again.

Thanks to the awesome make up done by Joanne See and styling by Michelle Davis.

Here is today's edited shot:
